Patriots are among us
If you are paying attention to this week you must have had a barbecue or holiday somewhere to celebrate the 4th of July. It is a tradition for most of us to enjoy the anniversary of independence day. I want to remind you that Independence day is more than just a holiday.
Our ancestors and forefathers payed a very big price for our freedoms that we enjoy today. We are beneficiaries of a blood and guts sacrifice that they made at a time when they had very little to fight with. Their guts and determination is all they had. They were the best example of a true patriot.
We are in the same situation today except on a scale that is larger and deeper because the fight to take our freedom is coming from within our own country. There are groups that want you to stop praying, stop your freedom of speech, take your guns, take your ammo, take control of your health care, education, and business. I wonder if we modern “Metropolitan Cosmopolitan Jethrows and Clydes will have the guts to stop this in its tracks. It is time to wake up and pay attention to what is going on in our every day United States of America. Our ancestors payed too much of a price to let it just slip away without us preserving the one thing that has always meant everything. Freedom to pursue life, liberty, and happiness must and shall not be infringed upon.
What has all this have to do with selling? As a true patriot I practice the freedom of selling every day. I do have the freedom to go anywhere and sell my products. Some careers don’t have the freedom that a selling career has. A sales person should always appreciate the career because you can meet a lot of different kind of people and every day is a different experience. Some careers are like groundhog day every day.
Now go out and practice your profession with pride. Some countries will not let you do that. Be a patriot forever.
